SimVET Analysis evaluates healthcare technologies with frontline clinicians and patient safety experts using clinical simulation to ensure safety and effectiveness for Veterans. Their findings are compiled into reports used to inform purchasing and acquisitions decisions.

Our team designed a centralized hub for stakeholders and customers to learn about SimVET Analysis, have access to new and existing reports, and garner participation and feedback from the field.

In October 2023, the Aerospace Account in Booz Allen Hamilton was holding a Leadership Offsite to have senior leaders work through the biggest issues for their sector. They tasked our team with designing an interactive, creative, facilitated Activation where senior leaders could discuss the most pressing issues for the Aerospace Account.

We designed, planned and facilitated three “activations” centering on anticipating emerging changes, strategically planning to reach their goals, and empowering and supporting their people.

︎ How might we support BCHD Sexual Health providers and patients with PrEP Initiation?

The Baltimore City Health Department and MICA’s Center for Social Design collaborated on an initiative to help with PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) initiation for their patients at their two Sexual Health Clinics.

The six-month long project focused on how we could design with and for both the PrEP providers and patients.

︎ What does it mean to “CNH” for the Board?

In a three-week HCD Immersive experience, MICA’s MA in Social Design department partnered with City Neighbors Hamilton (CNH) to explore how we could improve their school culture. A charter school in a neighborhood in Baltimore, CNH already had a thriving and meaningful school culture, which prioritized and supported it’s students first and foremost. However, over the course of the pandemic, some of what had made CNH great was starting to fray.
